At the age of seven, he was injured in a car accident that left him with spastic tetraplegia. Soon after, he began drawing and painting with his mouth, at first simply to pass the time. He quickly found the work inspiring and went on to develop his skills largely on his own, teaching himself as he went.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: left;\"\u003eWorking mainly in oils, Stéphane favours landscapes and portraits. His work has been shown in numerous exhibitions, and his artistic achievements have been recognized by the City of Valleyfield.
