ABOUT THE ARTIST

Tuck Chong Kok was born on 19 October 1954 in Singapore. In 1990, he fell down an escalator in a metro station, resulting in a traumatic spinal cord injury at the level of the C6 vertebra. The injury caused a complete lesion, leaving him tetraplegic.
During occupational therapy, Tuck Chong Kok discovered his passion for mouth painting and steadily developed his artistic skills. Through dedication and perseverance, he has made significant progress as an artist. His works have been presented in various exhibitions, including shows organized in cooperation with VSA Singapore, earning him recognition for both his artistic achievements and his inspiring personal journey.
